Shall We Tango?

This is a video clip of one of my favorite researchers and therapists, Sue Johnson.  Sue is one of the creators of Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).  EFT is just another approach to therapy.  It is one way of conceptualizing and working with clients in therapy.  It is also an approach that really resonates with me and who I am naturally.  I think Sue explains the approach so well.  Check this out…

What do you think about this approach?  Is it something you as a therapist use?  If you are not a therapist, how would you feel as a client in a therapy session where EFT is used?
