I say encounter rather than read because it was an experience for me. The words of the poem spoke to the power of such a unique state of being.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">These words speak to a state of being that is special and rare. A state of understanding, calm, and certainty.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Understanding in the meaning of the moment.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Calm in the silence.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><em>Certainty in the absence of words.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">We often become so consumed by the rush of life that we forget this particular state of being. We forget what it is like to be able to sit with our partner without words&#8230;to just <em>sit\u00a0with<\/em> and be <i>on par<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-2939\" alt=\"Gone swimming\" src=\"https:\/\/collectiveinquiry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Be-300x187.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"187\" srcset=\"https:\/\/collectiveinquiry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Be-300x187.jpg 300w, https:\/\/collectiveinquiry.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/Be.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Words sometimes get in the way. Words distract us from really\u00a0<em>seeing\u00a0<\/em>each other. Words convince us that they have to be there.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">It is okay when our words run dry. When we do not have anything to say or <em>choose<\/em> not to say anything. It can be an opportunity to connect on a different level. To realize that you can\u00a0<em>just be<\/em> without words.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">To accept and love each other.
