is advice to myself. i hope that you too can take something from it.]:<\/p>\n<p>get UP. get out.<b>\u00a0move.<\/b>\u00a0take a walk to anywhere.<br \/>\ngo to the movies. anywhere that&#8217;s not your couch.<br \/>\nstop sinking in. pull those covers off.<br \/>\nremote down.<br \/>\nbreathe in the fresh air instead of rushing through it.<\/p>\n<p>get off your computer. text later.<br \/>\nif you&#8217;re hiding and the joy you know is fading..<br \/>\nchange your routine.<br \/>\ngrab coffee and\u00a0<b>enjoy<\/b>\u00a0every sip.<br \/>\nfinish a book. people watch. say hi to a stranger.<br \/>\ncook dinner. a new recipe. grocery shop (first).<br \/>\npick your fruit thoughtfully.<\/p>\n<p>bake. do your laundry. watch the clothes as they spin,<br \/>\nthey clean and revive in cycles just as you do.<\/p>\n<p>pay your bills. clean.<br \/>\ncall a friend you&#8217;ve meaning to catch up with.<br \/>\nwrite. exercise. even if it&#8217;s for 10 minutes.<br \/>\ngo to the\u00a0<b>bookstore.\u00a0<\/b>sit in aisles as your browse.<br \/>\nlisten to (new) music. dance.<br \/>\nstretch. just move.<b>\u00a0it&#8217;s not distraction, it&#8217;s not forgetting,<\/b><br \/>\nit&#8217;s living and breathing and moving on.<br \/>\nand on that note- pay attention to your breathing. too often, we are holding our breath.<\/p>\n<p>it will be the hardest thing in the moment to get up- but<br \/>\n<b>say yes<\/b>.<br \/>\n<i>once you do, you&#8217;ll be happy you did.<\/i><br \/>\nmost of all:<br \/>\n<span style=\"text-decoration: underline\">don&#8217;t wait on anyone to &#8220;rescue you,&#8221;
