<\/p>\n23 years ago today, my brothers were born.\u00a0It was not until recently (within the past few years) that I realized the significance of this day.<\/p>\n
My relationship with each of my brothers has evolved from that of squabbling siblings to becoming each other’s confidantes, friends, and family. I do not know what I would do without them in my life today.<\/p>\n
The relationships that we share with our siblings are unique. They are the people who have walked life with us….who<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
have witnessed the ups and downs of our families…who we can connect with on a special level. I cherish the conversations that I have with my brothers in which I can simply say “remember when” and the connection is instant.<\/p>\n
I know that I am not the only person to feel this way. I have talked with many of my friends and even my clients about their relationships with their siblings.<\/p>\n
As we grow up, it becomes harder to maintain this connection. We graduate, get a job, and sometimes move away. I want to encourage you to reach out to your sibling today and say hello and that you are thinking about them.<\/p>\n
Today, I am going to text\/call\/Facebook my brothers to wish them a happy birthday and to connect.<\/p>\n
